Gilbert N. Miller, Secretary

Mr. Miller is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Artielle Therapeutics. He was Executive Vice President, CFO and Secretary of Agritope, Inc., from 1998 to 2000. Mr. Miller was Executive Vice President and CFO of Epitope, Inc. from 1989 through 1998. Prior to joining Epitope, Mr. Miller held several executive positions, including Executive Vice President, Finance and Administration, of Northwest Marine Iron Works; Senior Vice President/Finance of Nicolai Company; Director of Corporate Finance, Georgia-Pacific Corporation (NYSE:GP) and Audit Manager, Arthur Andersen & Co. Mr. Miller received a B.S. degree in business administration and technology from Oregon State University and a M.B.A. degree from the University of Oregon. He is a certified public accountant.
