Jeff joined Virogenomics in 2002 as Director of Bioinformatics and has been Chief Operating Officer since 2004. Jeff was Senior Manager of Lead Validation at Rosetta Inpharmatics (acquired by Merck in 2001). Prior to joining Rosetta, he was Manager of Compound Profiling at Acacia Biosciences. Jeff conducted postdoctoral research in molecular biology at the University of California, San Francisco and in biochemistry an the University of Bern, Switzerland. Jeff received a B.S. degree in engineering physics from the University of Arizona and a Ph.D. degree in biophysics from the University of California, Berkeley.
